As fate would have it, I arrived at my parent's house with my then wife, Irene, and step-children Ueli and Saemi, not long after the birth of the litter. We already had a dog, Shiva, a year and a half old Leonberger, whom the breeder was looking after for us back in Switzerland while we were on vacation in Florida. There's nothing like a whole bunch of wiggly puppies.
